TERMS & CONDITIONS
By submitting an application to Thailand Fashion Week ("TFW," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Applicant," "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Application Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not submit an application.
Nature of Engagement
2.1 Contract Basis
Positions advertised under this hiring cycle are engaged on an independent contract / consultancy basis for the duration of the applicable event cycle, not as direct, full-time employment of Thailand Fashion Week. This reflects the nature of the role: work is performed primarily remotely, with a defined period of mandatory physical presence in Bangkok, Thailand for operations & execution.
2.2 No Employer-Employee Relationship
Nothing in the application process, any communication during hiring, or the eventual engagement creates an employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the Applicant and TFW. Successful applicants will be issued a separate Contractor Agreement setting out scope of work, deliverables, fees, and duration, which will govern the engagement in more detail than these Terms.
2.3 Engagement Duration
Engagements are tied to the event cycle for which the Applicant is hired and are not presumed to continue beyond that cycle. Any renewal or re-engagement for a future season will be subject to a new agreement and is at TFW's sole discretion.
Accuracy of Information
The Applicant confirms that all information provided during the application process — including resume, work history, portfolio, references, and written responses — is true, complete, and accurate to the best of their knowledge. Misrepresentation or material omission may result in disqualification from the hiring process or, if discovered after engagement has begun, termination of the Contractor Agreement without further obligation from TFW.
No Guarantee of Engagement
Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview, offer, or engagement. TFW reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, postpone, or withdraw any posted position at any stage of the hiring process, without liability to the Applicant.

Ownership of Submitted Materials
Portfolios, writing samples, design work, or other materials submitted as part of an application remain the intellectual property of the Applicant. By submitting them, the Applicant grants TFW a limited, non-exclusive license to review such materials internally for evaluation purposes only. TFW will not use, publish, or commercially exploit submitted materials without the Applicant's separate, explicit written consent.
Background & Reference Checks
Where relevant to the role, TFW may conduct verification of information provided — including employment history, education, and professional references — with the Applicant's prior, separately obtained consent during the later stages of the hiring process.
Confidentiality
During the hiring process, the Applicant may be exposed to non-public information about TFW's operations, sponsors, designers, or event planning. The Applicant agrees to keep such information confidential and not disclose it to third parties, regardless of whether they are ultimately engaged.
Changes to These Terms
TFW may update these Application Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued participation in the application process after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
