Q: Ariel can you share the journey that led you from Israel to becoming an international film producer?
A. “Being an international film producer and screenwriter who produces films in the US, Mexico, Nigeria, and Canada is a very difficult thing for a criminal who comes from Israel. This is not a big country with a small film industry and the only way is to believe in yourself, motivation, and not only focus on Israeli creative culture . You have to maintain an international mentality”.
Q: What was your experience like studying acting at Lee Strasberg Film & Theatre Institute and how has it influenced your career as a producer and screenwriter?
A. “The studies were great. It influenced me by giving me tools for success״.
Q: You produced various films in various countries, including Mexico and Nigeria . How do you adapt to different cultural contexts and film industries ?
A. “I’m working with my international method and with only a local team from each country”.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your award-winning script “Sightless Bind” and can you tell us more about this journey in the film festivals circuit?
A. “I wanted to write an interesting script. At the moment, it has won screenplay competitions such as Honorable Mention at the Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition in New York, one of the best screenplay competitions in the world. Best Romance / Drama Screenplay at Silicon Beach Festival, Best International Screenplay at the Culver City Film Festival. The script will be produced for a film in the US”.
Q: As a judge at Sunset Film Festival and Hollywood Screenings Film Festival , what do you look for in a film and what advice would you give to aspiring filmmakers?
A. I look for a high level production and script . My advice is to create films by yourself “

A. “I'm producing high level films”

A. “To be open mind”
